Spiritual Life
Our vision for our student is to “not be conformed to the pattern of the world, but transformed.” Our desire is not only to build a strong foundation of academic performance and skills but also to help our teens find their identity in Christ, so when they go out into the world, they will be ready to live out their faith and reach their destiny.
Throughout the program their will learn to get to know Jesus through the Word of God in the curriculum. We also offer various programs and training opportunities for teens in grades 1-12.
Youth programs at MICS focus on the following throughout our weekly and yearly activities:
- Chapel (Every Thursday evening from 3:30 – 4:30)
- Applying faith to our everyday lives
- Serving the world around us
From a spiritual retreat at Student Conventions to a mission camp at Service Adventure for all youth in the summer to weekly small groups and many more activities, we learn and grow together in ways that empower youth and help cultivate their faith. Youth frequently serve in some capacity in the weekly worship service.
